Collaborative ALM Interoperability White-paper on IBM DeveloperWorks

mats @IBM

Collaborative ALM Interoperability.

5 January 2010.

”This white-paper provides guidance to enterprise teams adopting new Jazz based tools to improve their team performance. Such teams are often expected to stay integrated with existing project or corporate change management workflows and require tool interoperability that integrates the new and existing change management tool solutions.”

This new white-paper was authored my me and Rich at the GT SVT team. We document our findings from 2009 on integrating Rational ClearQuest, Rational Team Concert and Rational Test Manager. The text explores the the integration patterns using the CQ Connector and the CQ Bridge and discussed its pros and cons and the typical situation where each of the integration options are recommended.

If you are interested in comparing these technologies, or are planning to deploy a CQ – RTC integration download this white-paper here.

You can also read more on how ClearQuest integrates with the Jazz based tools on the Collaborative ALM Feature page.
